The Worshipful Master cordially invites the Brethren of Singleton Lodge No. 7 and their families to join us for one of our most cherished summer traditions—a memorable afternoon of fellowship, sailing, and Chesapeake Bay adventure.
Year after year, Annapolis Day has become one of the Lodge's premier family events, bringing together Brothers, spouses, children, and friends for an unforgettable experience on the water. As we set sail from Annapolis Harbor, guests will enjoy breathtaking views, fresh bay breezes, and the unique opportunity to cruise aboard an authentic schooner under full sail.
Space aboard the Woodwind is limited to just 40 passengers, and this event routinely sells out. We encourage everyone to secure their reservations early.
Beverages will be available for purchase during the sail, and the Lodge is finalizing plans for a catered gathering following our return to shore. Additional details will be shared as they become available.

WB Sleiman has called a Special Communication on Wednesday, September 30, to confer the Past Master’s Degree on our Brother Senior Warden. The degree will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to conclude around 8:00 p.m., with dinner to follow at Guapo’s at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Attendance at both the degree and dinner is limited to Actual Past Masters and Sitting Masters of Lodges. Attire is formal.
We extend our sincere appreciation to MWGM Chetin Durak and the Grand Lodge officers for organizing and conferring the degree, and to the Past Masters who have graciously committed their time and talents to the cast. Their participation honors the continuity of our Lodge’s leadership and the enduring traditions of the Craft.
Past Masters of William R. Singleton–Hope–Lebanon Lodge No. 7 are especially encouraged to attend and stand together in support of one of our own. This occasion marks an important milestone in our Senior Warden’s Masonic journey and offers us an opportunity to demonstrate the fellowship, encouragement, and brotherhood that distinguish Singleton Lodge.

Join us for our October Stated Communication as we gather for Singleton Lodge’s Annual Festive Board—a cherished evening of fellowship, fraternity, and good cheer.
The evening will feature a decadent feast, delicious wine, and the traditional toasts that make our Festive Board such a memorable occasion. It is an opportunity to set aside the business of the Lodge, share a meal with our Brethren and guests, and celebrate the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that make Singleton Lodge special.
All Brethren and guests must RSVP in advance. An accurate headcount is essential so that our caterer can prepare appropriately for the evening. Please be sure to RSVP for yourself and each guest who will be attending. Come hungry, come thirsty, and come prepared to raise a glass in good company. On Saturday, October 10, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, the Lodge is partnering with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and Pupatella Pizza for an adoption event in the Mosaic District. Fifteen adoptable dogs will be there, and our job is simple: help handle the dogs and encourage folks to take one home.
Where: Pupatella, 2980 District Ave, Suite 140, Fairfax (Mosaic District) When: Saturday, October 10, 12:00–2:00 PM Volunteers: please arrive by 11:30 AM What you'll be doing. No experience needed. Lucky Dog provides the tables and the setup, and their staff runs the adoption side. We're the handlers — walking dogs, greeting families, and talking up the dogs to people passing by. It's an easy, genuinely fun two hours, and the dogs do most of the work.
It's also one of the better chances we get to show people what Masonry actually is. Most folks have never met a Mason, and a Saturday afternoon spent helping shelter dogs find families says more about our values than any explanation could. If someone asks who we are, that conversation is the whole point.

Getting there. Pupatella faces the green space rather than the road, with an open lawn and seating right out front — that's where the weekend crowds gather, and where we'll be. There's street parking close by, plus five garages on site, all free for five hours, so you're well covered for the day. The attached PDF helps illustrate this.
Bring comfortable shoes and a water bottle. Family and friends are welcome — this is a family-friendly spot, and a bigger crowd means more dogs get seen.
Bringing your kids. Children are absolutely welcome, with two simple ground rules. You must be 18 or older to hold a dog's leash, and we need one adult for every child under 18. Kids under 18 will be paired with their parent or guardian and share the dog that adult is handling, which honestly makes it more fun for them anyway.
Meet the dogs first. About a week before the event we'll know exactly which dogs are joining us, and we'll introduce them via email so you can get to know who you'll be spending the afternoon with.
Drivers. The dogs come from boarding locations around Virginia, Maryland and DC, and they need rides to the event and back. This is completely optional and not expected, but it's a great way to get to know the dog you'll be handling before the day even starts — and it's a real help to Lucky Dog. If you'd like details on volunteering to drive, just email us and we'll share them closer to the event.
A few notes. Pupatella has hosted a lot of these over the years and knows what works — past events have included everything from face painting to fortune telling and palm reading.
Additional activities may be added depending on the Lodge vote — so the day may end up even more festive than what's described here. Either way, the event is confirmed and happening.
